So, the Anthem VIP Demo has started a few days ago and a very common issue has been part of most experiences. Whenever gamers try to do a mission or expedition, then loading screens don’t always get to finish. That’s extremely annoying. But how do you fix the infinite loading screen issue?

Well, there is no real solution for this right now. You can’t prevent infinite loading screens until EA releases an update for Anthem that fixes the malfunction. However, there is something you can do to bypass the anomaly.

All you have to do is close the game when your infinite loading screen is happening but there is a catch… You can’t just close the game by alt-tabbing and right click Close Window in your taskbar.

How to Fix the Infinite Loading Screen Issue in the Anthem Demo?

First of all, you need to know if you are really stuck. This usually happen when you are at around 90% into the loading bar. If it doesn’t progress anymore, then you can just follow the steps below.

1st Step: Click CTRL+ALT+DELETE and select Task Manager.

2nd Step: Select Processes and look for the Anthem Demo under Apps.

Note: If you have closed your demo by simply shutting it down, check under Background Processes (sometimes it gets stuck there). Origin won’t let you re-launch the game if it’s still stuck there. If you can’t find it, restart your computer until Origin lets you restart the game again (easiest option).

3rd Step: Right click on the Anthem Demo in the Apps list and select End Task to close the game safely. Alternatively, you can also just select it and click on the End task button down there.

4th Step: Now, all you have to do is start the Anthem Demo again via Origin and you will be given the option to rejoin your mission or expedition once you login to a server.

That’s It! You Can Now Play Anthem

This is the way I’ve found to play the full Anthem VIP Demo so far. It might not be the quickest way but it’s surely the easiest one! Most importantly it works.

In other words, you can finally experience Anthem’s missions and expeditions with this temporary fix on how to fix the infinite loading screen.

Now, I’m not sure for how long this issue will persist. But this fix will most likely keep working for the open demo and even the full game when it releases.

If you are not sure how to pre-load or install the Anthem demo, feel free to check our guide with all the necessary steps.

The official release date for Anthem is on February 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The Anthem VIP Demo launch happened around one hour ago but the server capacity is not enough for all the eligible players to log in. The result couldn’t be more chaotic, thousands of players are being left out of the experience.

EA has already posted a statement saying they are working on the issue. But they are taking their time to implement a viable solution. One hour later, the issue is still going and players all over the world are still waiting for a chance to log in. Here’s what EA said so far:

We’re adding more server capacity to the #Anthem demo right now. Hang tight while we work to get everyone into the game.

EA Help – 25/01, 2018

In the meanwhile, everyone who has pre-ordered Anthem or purchased an EA/Origin subscription will have to wait until more servers are added.

EA has not specified when will this happen. The Anthem VIP Demo launch is being marked by chaos, discontentment, and frustration for many.

The First Issue with the Anthem VIP Demo Launch

Whenever eligible players try to connect, they receive the following connection error message, followed by an apalogy:

No matter how many times you try to reconnect or restart the game… It simply won’t work for now because there are way too few servers for all the players trying to connect and play the demo.

This issue is not a surprise for most people… In fact, it was expected as spotted in many social media comments. After all, each pre-order came with three invitation codes. In other words, each pre-order includes three accesses to try the Anthem VIP Demo.

Anthem’s Twitter page is being flooded with complain comments. More than 4k posts have been added to the tweet mentioned above.

The Second Error Just Arrived!

After adding more servers, the Anthem VIP Demo launch is now plagued with an infinite loading screen bug. Apparently, the solution is to restart the game. But that doesn’t seem to be helping most of the players affected by this issue.

So far, for many Anthem players all they get to see is an infinite loading screen saying “Connecting to Online Services”:

It Keeps Getting Worse

EA managed to add more servers around 2 hours after the Anthem VIP Demo launch went live. But things keep getting worse. After infinite loading screens, the Origin client mysteriously went offline.

Players are now unable to login or access any Origin games. EA is yet to post an announcement about this on-going issue.

After this message, Origin disabled all sign in attempts. Players are now unable to sign into Origin and receive the following message:

Origin Login Unavailable Anthem

For all it matters, there will still be another demo next week. Everyone will be able to join the open beta (supposdely). For more details, check our guide on how to pre-load Anthem and learn about the open demo date & time.

The official release date for Anthem is on February 22 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

If you got your game from a retail shop (Amazon, GameStop, etc…), then you need to look for your exclusive demo code. It’s usually on the receipt or email after completing the purchase. Anyway, once you’ve got your code you need to sign in here using your EA/Origin account and click Redeem Code.

However, you need to proceed differently depending on the platform you have purchased the game. Here is how you can pre-load the Anthem now.

There are two schedules for the Anthem Demo right now. The first one follows the closed beta model and starts next Friday (January 25). The second demo follows the open beta model and will being on February 1.

These are the server opening and closing times from EA:

  • 9am to 6pm PT
  • 10am to 9pm ET
  • 5pm to 2am GMT

Anthem Normal Demo or Open Beta

  • 9am to 6pm PT
  • 10am to 9pm ET
  • 5pm to 2am GMT

Are You Eligible for the VIP Demo?

To put things simple, you are only eligible to play Anthem’s VIP demo if you have thrown some cash at EA… Or if you were lucky enough to win a VIP demo code from a giveaway or from a dear friend.

In other words, you need to pre-order the game or purchase the EA or Origin subscription to access this demo/beta.

How to Invite Friends for the VIP Demo?

If you are already eligible for the Anthem VIP Demo, then be aware that you will receive three invites! All you have to do is download, install, and then launch the game (at least once). Otherwise, you won’t be able to access your friend codes.

The Fallout 76 beta period has just ended and it’s time to take a closer look at the PvP. Bethesda has long announced that the Fallout 76 PvP System would prevent griefers ruining your game experience while exploring West Virginia. But how does it all work? There is so much theory around but when it comes to gameplay, does it all apply?

Fallout 76 won’t be anything like Rust or Conan Exiles, two iconic survival multiplayer games with extensive PvP features. Gamers can’t raid other players’ bases or group up to take down weaker and fewer opponents. They can’t keep killing and grieving the same player over and over without consequences.

You surely can’t loot other people’s inventory or stored goods after death. In fact, you can hardly kill someone in Fallout 76 if they don’t fight back. It’s not just about the fact that it’d not fun to hit someone as if you were hitting a wall. The system will make it very difficult for you to kill someone when the fighting encounter is not accepted.

At first glance, the entire PvP in Fallout 76 sounds incredibly boring and unchallenging for PvP fans. You can’t do anything at all… unlike in so many other games of this genre. Besides, killing people doesn’t seem to be rewarding or satisfying…

But before you jump into conclusions, you should have a full understanding of the whole picture. So, how does Fallout 76 PvP System Work?

Bethesda Has Created Their Own Set of PvP Rules

If you haven’t tried the Fallout 76 PvP System yet, then don’t just assume you have everything figured out. Bethesda has created their own PvP world with very peculiar rules. It’s probably different from any other game you have played before.

Despite being a survival multiplayer game, you can’t go around and kill people as you please without facing the consequences. In theory, you could but do you have what it takes to do it? You would basically be fighting your entire server if you decided to do so…

Also, there are no rewards for being a murderer and killing harmless players who don’t wish to fight you. You might give them a hard time for a little while but you will also be adding a bounty to your head. Is it worth it? Only you can answer that.

Beginner Protection Until Level Five

When you start your Fallout 76 journey, you don’t have to think about PvP at all. You get the status called Pacifist, which prevents you from taking part of any PvP events. This status is automatically gone once you reach level five.

To initiate any player combat, you just have to attack another player. You can also get attacked by any other player at any time. But keep in mind, all damaged is ignored when you are teaming up with your friends or allies.

On the other hand, if you have killed someone and you have a wanted murderer status… Anyone can see you in the map and attempt to kill you with normal damage. So, you either kill or you will be killed sooner or later.

Fallout 76 - PvP - Level 5 Allies, Strangers & Enemies PvP Rules

But… Can You Still Grief or Troll?

This is a question that many players ask themselves about Fallout 76. The answer is yes, you can still grief other players but with heavy consequences. Let’s say that you can soft grief with a set of defined rules.

For example, you can kill someone while they are doing an event and prevent them from receiving any reward since they will probably spawn outside of the event radius. That is a very annoying way to deny rewards and experience to someone.

You can also kill someone and slow their journey massively. Just imagine someone has not explored a part of the map and is trying to reach a certain teleport point… And suddenly they are killed. That person will have to walk for some long 10 minutes again. Ouch!

PvP Level Balancing

The Fallout 76 PvP system is designed to blur out the level differences between players. This means that you definitely have a winning chance if you get attacked by someone much higher. The game has a level balancing system for all PvP encounters.

On the other hand, gear level and bonuses might make it a bit difficult for lower players to deal with. So, the higher-level player will always have a slight advantage. But this is a great way to ensure level caps won’t aid any sort of bullying.

Damage & Return Fire Rules

Return fire rules are probably the most important thing you need to consider while fighting other players in Fallout 76. When you first attack someone, your damage will be drastically reduced. Your damage will only normalize once the fire is returned by the person you are attacking.

As such, don’t be surprised if you are hardly hurting someone when you are starting a PvP duel. However, there is an exception to this rule. If you are engaging a wanted player, then your damage won’t suffer any penalties.

The Fallout 76 PC beta launch is about to go live in a few hours. However, there is a huge confusion among gamers about the exact starting time. The announced starting time doesn’t match the time set for Bethesda’s launcher, which is raising endless questions in social media, specially in Twitter.

Bethesda has long announced that the first beta for PC will begin at 7 pm ET. But there is a completely different time on Bethesda’s client, 5 pm ET. There is a two-hour gap between the two “official” starting times for the Fallout 76 PC beta launch.

But the confusion has been clarified by Bethesda already. The event will take place at the same exact announced time, 7 pm ET. It seems there is a bug with the launcher’s programming, which has been set to mountain time. The counter will go down but the beta will only open two hours later:

The event will start by 7pm ET on Tuesday, October 30 as announced. The Mr. Handy that programmed the countdown timer was running on Mountain time; as a result the timer will run down about two hours before the B.E.T.A. event is scheduled to begin. That Mr. Handy has been reset to factory default so this should not recur. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. Bethesda, 10/30/2018 12:34 PM

If you are still unsure about the starting time, please check the official Fallout 76 beta schedule created by Bethesda. Then, don’t forget to convert the launching time to your timezone. You can use Savvy Time or World Time Buddy.

Update (21:50 GMT): It seems the launcher is having several issues and people are losing their preloaded game file. You can use software, such as Recuva to recover your Fallout 76 preloaded file. Otherwise, the launch might request a new download from yero to install the game. Ideally, you shouldn’t touch any buttons for now:

PC B.E.T.A. players: We are aware of an issue with the client and are investigating. Do not click any buttons on the client for the time being.  Bethesda, 10/30/2018 2:31 PM

Atomic Society is a new strategy and simulation game with survival and city building elements. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic setting and it challenges you to survive the extreme conditions of the wasteland. We have created this Atomic Society strategy guide to help you build and survive the post-war scenario. You will also learn how to thrive and achieve all your goals.

Let’s start from the beginning, shall we? You are a leader in a bunker and you are confident you can rise a city from zero with the help of a few engineers. But how will you do that? What choices will you make and what consequences will you face?

Well, as you explore and roam the wasteland you will gather some other survivors who have nothing to lose. But you don’t have too much time to decide where do you want to start building. Hunger and thirst will soon quick in…

Anyway, you should first create your character and choose a map that fits your playstyle. Keep in mind that certain map can increase the difficulty of the game substantially.

1. Select a Starting Location

Don’t start building on the spot you spawn. Take a few minutes to explore the map and make a strategic decision based on the available resources around you. Ideally, you want to build in the middle of several ruins that should last for a while. You want to be at the center of several resource points for easy and fast access.

Also, make sure there is enough space to build and expand. You will need to build quite a lot and you don’t want this to become a problem in the long term. Avoid places that condition your building and might be difficult to defend later on.

2. Start Building

To start building you need to pick some old ruins as a starting point. You need to convert it into a useful building. In this case, a standard-sized storehouse. This will be the beginning of your new settlement. Once you complete the conversion, you can name your city and found the settlement. Then, it’s time to start building!

Atomic Society Strategy Guide - Building - Storehouse - Scavenger Hut

3. Scavenge and Deliver

You need resources to start building, so scavenge the sites around you using your leader and deliver the goods once your inventory is full. You can check the progress of your scavenging or take notice once it’s completed. After a few rounds, you should have enough materials to build some primary structures.

Keep in mind that you can find rare loot by manually scavenging with your leader. You can get backpacks to expand your inventory capacity or loot other items that will improve your scavenging skills.

4. Primary Buildings

Go for food, water, and housing buildings first. They are essential to keep your survivors alive and you don’t want to end up with a cemetery just at the start of your game. You need to use your leader to manually build for the time being… Then, head back to scavenging to gather more resources. Don’t forget to fill in the job slots in each active building or they won’t produce any resources.

5. Scavenging Hut

Build a Scavenging Hut to help you gather more resources. You can employee several survivors but this is not a very reliable source. The process is quite slow, so don’t stop scavenging with your leader. This is simply a little extra to help you going… Later on, you can build several scavenging huts to somewhat automate your scavenging power.

If you’re looking forward to playing the next Fallout, then you surely don’t want to miss out the following Fallout 76 beta revelations. The Xbox One beta has just started and the final game has been fully disclosed. After all, the beta version is the complete and final version of the game. As such, you can get excited with what you see right now!

Whether you want to satisfy your curiosity or learn more about Fallout 76, these revelations will most likely increase your hype about trying out the game (if you haven’t yet). If you were concerned about getting bored easily, then don’t… There is plenty to do in Fallout 76 and you are very prompt to experience some harsh deja vus.

The game includes many elements from the previous Fallout 4 and it establishes that peculiar ambiance typical of a Fallout title. But this is a multiplayer and survival game, so things get quite interesting, to say the least. Let’s move on to the Fallout 76 beta revelations. Shall we?

1. Almost Everything Awards You with XP

As a typical survival video game, Fallout 76 awards you for doing almost anything. You earn experience by crafting, completing missions, exploring new areas, and killing enemies. Judging the number of items you need to sustain yourself, you’re probably going to craft a lot. Food, weapons, armor, and utility items are all part of the experience list. Besides that, you will encounter enemies no matter where you go So, leveling up is a matter of activity.

2. You Can Craft All Sorts of Things

This is not really fresh news but the Xbox One beta has shown that your crafting possibilities are very wide and diverse. You can collect and store all sorts of ingredients and parts to fill your recipe requirements. Apart from the normal item crafting, you can also build and customize your own shelter. Things become even more intriguing when you earn experience by creating your own goodies…

3. Extensive Map to Adventure and Explore

Have you seen the full extent of the Fallout 76 map? It’s huge! There are dozens upon dozens of landmarks to explore alone or with your friends. There seem to be level zones too, which will present you with more challenging encounters and better loot. The map is also diverse and quite dynamic. After all, you can find different landscapes and world events as your adventure progresses.

4. Fallout 4 Vibes Everywhere

One of the most exciting Fallout 76 revelations is that it resembles so much to Fallout 4. You have several radio stations to tune in with the same type of jazz swing old classic musical style. Moreover, the in-game interface is basically the same and your pipboy will make you feel at home. The enemies will give you some great deja vu feelings as well (if you’ve played any of the previous Fallout games).

Are you ready to take part in the Fallout 76 beta? Xbox One players who have pre-ordered digitally can start pre-downloading the game right away. The first session is starting soon on October 23 at 7pm ET, followed by PC and PS4 on October 30. There seem to be several beta sessions being prepared but Bethesda hasn’t yet specified about the exact amount.

The first Fallout 76 beta session will happen on Xbox One next Tuesday, October 23 from 7pm ET to 11pm ET. This four hour period will consist essentially of a stress test, which was already announced by Bethesda in the FAQ. This system will replace the typical beta strategy that is online all day long and lasts for several days. This is an understandable procedure to ensure the servers will be ready to accommodate all the players on release. After all, this is Bethesda’s first online multiplayer survival RPG.

However, the chosen time seems to favor US players since the start time will be around midnight for EU players. Perhaps, there were way more pre-orders for Xbox One US than EU or the next beta session will favor EU players.

In the announcement tweet, Bethesda referred to the “first session” hinting towards others Beta sessions. It’s still unknown how many short sessions Bethesday is planing out during the whole event. So, the best thing to do right now is to stay tuned to their official Twiter page for more beta updates as this one:

Be prepared! The B.E.T.A. is now available to pre-load on  One. Download it today to be ready for the first session planned for October 23 from 7pm ET to 11pm ET. Visit our FAQ on how to download:

Pre-Download Fallout 76 Beta Now

Xbox One players can start pre-downloading the beautiful 43,7GB that will compose the final version of Fallout 76 beta. It might take you a while to finish the download, so start now. You don’t have too much time left at this point.

If you haven’t pre-ordered the game, you can still access all the betas by doing so here.
Don’t trust websites selling “beta codes”, most of them are scams. There are some people selling their beta codes but don’t get high on expectations.

If you want to download the Bethesda launcher and get everything ready for the beta day, then you can do it here. Don’t forget to redeem your beta code.

What to Expect for PC and PS4?

For October 30, you can expect a similar setting with multiple beta sessions announced via Twitter. The good news is that you can check out how the first experiences turn out on Xbox One. This means that Bethesda will have some time to improve or fix things that are not working too well with the game or servers.

You can also expect some bugs and glitches but not too many. After all, the release date is exactly 14 days after the last scheduled beta. On the other hand, you shouldn’t be too surprised if the servers can’t handle all the participants.

Betas are generally known for their chaotic and turbulent aspect. They generate frustration and discontentment when you are not able to play properly. But they also build excitement and joy when you can.

This might be the first survival multiplayer game from Bethesda but they have extensive experience with online games, including The Elder Scrolls Online. Therefore, you shouldn’t be too concerned about server issues.

Don’t Forget This is the Final Game

Regardless of where you play, keep in mind that the Fallout 76 beta is the final version of the game. In fact, PC players don’t need to re-download the game on November 14, when the game gets released. Moreover, everyone who takes part in the beta will be able to carry over their progress once the game is released.

So, let the countdown begin! Prepare your Fallout 76 beta and make sure to enjoy this brand new survival RPG game from Bethesda. You might also want to check out eight essential things about the Fallout 76 beta launch.
